Geographic Regions
From NativeWiki
Ethnic nations/peoples of the worldNativeWiki's geographical regions follow the United Nations Geoscheme, where macro-geographical regions are arranged to the extent possible according to continents and subregions. (Geology at times classifies these regions into supercontinents which are land masses comprising more than one continental core.) Geographically, however, it's difficult to orient ethnic nations/peoples in terms of the standard seven continents. A "nation" is not normally a specifically-named country. NativeWiki basically organizes nations and peoples by the UN Geoscheme only to codify ethnicity in geographical terms. In an ethnic sense, reference to a "nation" involves legal and tribal council matters, while "peoples" relates more to cultural practices, languages, and forms of a spiritual/religious nature.
